Tomorrow ends NaNoWriMofor another year. That means you have today and tomorrow to finish. No matter what, keep writing.Â
Wednesday begins the 3rd Annual International Plot Writing Month, also known as PlotWriMo or as my friend and short story writer Mary Eastham dubs the month of December, PostNaNoPlot Perfection.
Write now. Shape your words into a compelling story throughout December.
Perhaps you didn’t do nano? Don’t even know what it is but you have a draft of your book and are wondering, now what?Â
No draft of a story written? Follow the steps outlined this month to generate ideas for one. (You’ll have to use your imagination and fill in the missing blanks, but you’re good at that, right? You’re a writer.)
Follow me here everyday for plot tips and tricks and inspiration beginning Dec. 1st.
No writing required.
Use the month to push aside the words and analyze the characters and dramatic action and thematic significance you have written. Brainstorm for an effortless draft two in January ’09.
Love it! PostNaNoPlot Perfection! My story: boymeetsgirlboylosesgirlboygetsgirlintheendmaybe with two mysterious events that may or may not be connected 🙂 Can't wait to read your blog!
Glad you'll be following along.
You've got me hooked.
Hope you'll post your progress as you go.
I love this! My novel follows a small pride of sabertooth cats in Ice Age California. Looking forward to the plot tips!
Just found your website via 'I wrote a Novel now what' NaNoWriMo page. I'd love to participate in this! I have yet to get back to my NaNo un-novel that I did throughout the month of November, and this sounds like a good way to get back into it, and work on it throughout the month of December. Hope am not too late.
Thanks for your comments, Robert and Ana. So happy you're following along. Hope you find the posts helpful. Great good luck!
